I can’t believe it’s already June! This year has gone by so fast! Luckily, as the California summer approaches, I am better prepared for the inevitable 100+ degree weather thanks to Schmidt’s Deodorant. I have been on the constant lookout for a natural alternative in the deodorant department, but have never been enticed enough to try something other than the conveniently easy-to-find Tom’s deodorant.
You guys, I think this might be my HG when it comes to deodorant because this deodorant is simply AMAZING. It smells like a margarita (similar to Lush’s Ocean Salt Cleanser) and it really does its job quite well. At the end of a typical eight-hour work day, I find that Schmidt’s Deodorant holds up wonderfully and so far, I haven’t had any issues with it staining my clothing or causing any skin irritations.
The only real con to this product is the application. Since it’s not in a traditional stick form, you have the option of using the applicator and/or your fingers to apply the product. All you have to do is take a small scoop and warm it with your fingers before applying to your skin. The texture is similar to solid coconut oil, but once you warm it up for a few seconds, it becomes creamier and easier to spread.
Ingredients: Butyrospermum parkii (shea butter), Sodium bicarbonate (baking soda), Maranta arundinacea (arrowroot) powder, Theobroma cacao (cocoa) seed butter, Citrus bergamia (bergamot) essential oil, Citrus aurantifolia (lime) essential oil, Tocopherol (vitamin E), Humulus lupulus (hop) extract
With simple ingredients and a budget-friendly price, what more could you ask for? Did I mention that it also comes in a variety of other fragrances? If you are sensitive to fragrances, there is also a fragrance-free option as well!
Schmidt’s Deodorant retails for $9 online at their company website. You can also find it on Amazon. Get yours here!
